Campamento Coyote Rustic experience, starts and ends in La Paz or in Loreto, depending on your needs. La Paz is closer to Campamento Coyote, but Loreto works well too.

Group 3 provides the option to participate in the Campamento Coyote Trip March 2 – 6, 2025 as part of our Best of Baja – Coast to Coast Trip with a two night stay in Puerto San Carlos*.
* Hotel accommodation is not included in the price, but we can help you organize accommodation or provide some suggestions.

TOUR BEGINNING ~
Tour Beginning: Orientation at the Hotel
» 5:00 PM: Pre-trip meeting at your hotel in Loreto or La Paz.
~ Meet with your guides, Eduardo and team.
~ Review the itinerary and important safety protocols.
~ Address any last-minute questions or concerns.
~ Dinner on your own; recommendations will be provided by the guides.
DAY 1
Day 1: Travel to Campamento Coyote
» 7:00 AM: Breakfast and coffee at the hotel (be ready to depart after breakfast).
» 8:00 AM: Transfer from Loreto or La Paz to Puerto Cancún.
~ Enjoy a scenic 3-hour drive to Puerto Cancún with a break at the Market of Ciudad Constitucion.
» 12:00 PM: Lunch in Puerto Cancún.
~ Relish a delicious meal at a local restaurant.
» 1:00 PM: Continue the transfer to Campamento Coyote.
~ A short boat ride to the camp.
» 2:00 PM: Arrival at Campamento Coyote.
~ Settle into your spacious tents and familiarize yourself with the camp.
» 3:00 PM: Time to familiarize yourself with the camp amenities and explore the surroundings while relaxing and enjoying the stunning surroundings.
» 6:00 PM: Dinner at the camp.
~ Savor delicious local seafood and other Mexican dishes.
» 8:00 PM: Relax by the fire and discuss the plan for the following day.
DAY 2
Day 2: Whale Watching Expedition
» 7:30 AM: Breakfast at the camp.
» 8:30 AM: Depart on the Pangas to witness the gray whales interacting in their natural habitat.
» 12:00 PM: Lunch at Margarita Island.
» 1:30 PM: Relaxing and exploring Margarita Island.
~ Discover the diverse array of sea birds and marine life.
» 3:00 PM: Back to camp.
» 4:00 PM: Optional afternoon paddle.
» 6:00 PM: Dinner at the camp.
~ Share stories and experiences around the campfire.
DAY 3
Day 3: Kayaking and Exploration
» 7:30 AM: Breakfast at the camp.
» 8:30 AM: Kayaking expedition.
~ Paddle to different areas of the bay, enjoying the serene waters and scenic views.
» 12:00 PM: Picnic lunch on a secluded beach.
» 1:30 PM: Continue kayaking or optional hike in the dunes.
» 4:00 PM: Return to camp.
~ Relax and unwind, perhaps take a short nap or read a book.
» 7:00 PM: Farewell dinner at the camp.
~ Enjoy a special meal and reflect on the adventures of the past days.
DAY 4
Day 4: Departure
» 7:30 AM: Breakfast at the camp.
» 8:30 AM: Free time to relax, pack, and enjoy the last moments in the beautiful setting.
» 11:00 AM: Early lunch at the camp.
» 12:00 PM: Depart from Campamento Coyote.
~ Transfer back to Loreto or La Paz.
» 4:00 PM: Arrival in Loreto or La Paz.
~ End of the tour: time to say goodbye to new friends and guides.
